Remove wrinkles from luxury bed sheets without using an iron.

Cotton-poly bedsheets wrinkle less than 100% pure cotton sheets, however they don’t feel as nice next to the skin.

Some people ask the question, do I have to iron my sheets? The answer, is no, you don’t have to, but smooth sheets give a wonderful feeling.

So, here are some options

Iron them.

Don’t do anything.

Better yet, find someone else to iron it or simply send them out to the cleaners (make sure not to dry clean).

Or you could simply follow the below mentioned steps.

Try to minimize the wrinkles from the start.

  • Only wash one set of sheets in your washing machine at a time. Overloading the washer will not get them as clean, and they can get balled up, creating a strain on the fibers.
  •
  • Many people roll the sheets up into a ball when making the sheets. This should not be a problem, but untangle them when you place them in the washer.
  •
  • Untangle them when you place them in the dryer, you want them to tumble freely.
  •
  • Don’t let them sit in the dryer after drying, take them out slightly damp, and hand press them or put them back on the bed.
  •
  • Take a spray bottle of water.
  •
  • Place your flat sheet on the bed, tuck it, then go to the head of the bed and grab one corner.
  •
  • Pull-on it so that it is taut, then give it a light spray.
  •
  • Repeat these steps on the other side of the bed.
  •

For Pillowcases:

  • Stuff your pillowcases.
  •
  • Grab the case by the cuff or opening with one hand, then spritz both sides of the case.
  •
  • Keep the spray bottle down and with both hands shake the pillowcase up-and-down. The necessary tension created will remove the wrinkles.
  •

Your bed sheets should look as if they have just been ironed.
